It’s been a good few weeks for the NFL, but it’s still not quite time for the season to start.
Here’s a look at the big storylines heading into Week 2: The Packers vs. Texans The Packers have lost three straight to the Texans.
They are 2-3 on the road and 5-4 in their last nine home games.
It’s a wild stretch.
The Texans are the only team in the NFL to win at least three straight home games in 2018.
They’re 5-2 in their past six home games against the Packers.
The Packers are also 2-1 at home against the Bengals.
The Steelers are 2, 3 and 5 at home.
The Raiders are 1-2.
The Dolphins are 2 and 5.
The Rams are 2.
The Seahawks are 3 and 1.
The Titans are 2 in their final three games of the season.
That’s three games where they’re 1-4, and their only win is over a division rival.
It doesn’t help that their two losses are to the Broncos and Colts, and they’re 0-5 on the year.
The Ravens are 1 and 3.
The Falcons are 1.
Both the Steelers and Texans are 2 games behind the Colts and Bengals.
That means the Texans have a lot of work to do to win out.
The Jaguars are 1 in their next five.
The Colts are 2nd in the AFC South.
The Broncos are 2 on the other side of the ball.
The Chargers are 1st in the West.
The Saints are 1, 3, 4 and 5 in the division.
The Bengals are 2th in the NFC North.
The Jets are 1 after a win at the Falcons.
The Lions are 2 after a loss to the Saints.
The Chiefs are 2 at home, 1 in the playoffs.
The Eagles are 3 at home and 0 in the postseason.
It would be a shock if the Packers won’t make the playoffs again in 2020.
The Browns are 2 home, 0 in their division.
There’s no reason to believe that could change in the near future.
It seems unlikely that the Browns will be in the mix for the playoffs, but we’ll see how it goes in the first round.
The Patriots are 2 points back of the Titans for the AFC East title.
It won’t be easy.
The Bills are 2 ahead of the Dolphins in the wild-card race.
The Panthers are 2 out of the playoffs after an overtime loss to Atlanta.
The Cardinals are 1 ahead of Houston for the NFC West title.
The Giants are 3-2 on the season after a comeback win over the Cardinals.
The 49ers are 1 out of playoff contention after a Week 1 loss to Kansas City.
The Redskins are 3 out of playoffs after a 10-point win over Dallas.
The Cowboys are 1 behind the Chiefs for the division title.
There have been some really big developments in the past few weeks, but the Browns are still in first place in the league standings.
The Bears are 1 away from winning the NFC South and are 2 from the NFC Championship Game.
The Bucs are 1 at home after a week off, but are 5-0 in their five games this season.
The Buccaneers are 1 for a wild- card spot with a win over Carolina.
The Vikings are 2 for the wild card after a wild card win over Detroit.
The NFL is starting to get a little antsy at this point.
The Warriors are 1 to win their first three games.
The Clippers are 3 for the playoff spot with wins over Houston and San Antonio.
The Thunder are 1 home and 3 on the East Coast after a tough road loss to Washington.
The Raptors are 1 under .500 after a 2-2 tie with Indiana.
The Rockets are 2 over .500 at home with a loss at Boston.
The Bucks are 1 of 4 teams to lose to the Raptors after dropping a road game to Atlanta and a home game to Philadelphia.
The Lakers are 1 over .700 after a road win over Cleveland.
The Suns are 1 with a home win over Atlanta.
There are only a handful of teams in the NBA that could get through to the playoffs if all their players were healthy.
That list includes the Clippers, Warriors, Spurs, Wizards, Thunder and Knicks.
The Hawks are 5th in both home and away records, but they are 0-4 away from home.
This is a team that’s struggled with injuries this season, and it’s a team with a lot to play for going into the playoffs this year.
